GKOS Terminal to turn
This symmetric
terminal can be used in left hand or in right hand, both
vertically or horisontally, as well as with two hands when the
GKOS keyboard on the back is used. When used vertically, the familiar user
interface is accessable including the legacy number pad with multi-tap
typing on the touch screen. The GKOS keyboard can be turned outwards according
to the sixback concept (sixback.com)
for easier typing (figure below).
It is also possible to operate the GKOS keypad
with thumbs on this device. That clever design can be easily adapted to a touch sensitive display so that the keys are located on the left and right sides of the screen. Then it will be just a software update to the terminal. For the displayed keys, the user can be given assistance along the lines of the Teach Mode.
